@Usher and @johnlgalt and all the geeky person over there is not the software are made to make task easier rather to spend hours to solve problems. I think download managers (irrespective of any brands, any types, any coding language it written or in alpha, beta or stable) are built to download files from internet and files include videos too in a format user desired format.

example 1.
when youtube changes its content to stream audio and video separately many downloader failed to download single file of different quality with both video and audio. for that they used ffmpeg to merge audio and video files. if i download video and audio file separately and configure vlc everytime to play audio and video file at the same time then why should i need a downloader.

FYI software are made to ease out efforts and for automation for that every developers should think how they can be more beneficial and automated for the people.

and lastly if like you geeky people there are many people around the world who doesnot know how to download a youtube video or a file from file sharing sites as well as configure audio video file to play simultaneously and further the small tweak and tricks that makes things possible but for them the answer is FDM where they need to click on the link present in the browser and FDM takes over it and download the files and users has to play or run it.

Please add the filename dialog box to rename HLS files when saving a video file. File naming Issue occurs because the file rename option is not available. See example:
