http://freedownloadmanager.com/

Free download manager for Windows, Mac OS X and Ubuntu Linux is coming soon.
Stay tuned for the future updates.

This made me VERY happy

Although i use ubuntu, i would like it if they said "Linux" instead, or more appropriately GNU/Linux. Or, if the main distribution will be debian package files, then call it "Debian Linux" aswell, because debian and ubuntu are very similar and their package files are 99% compat...

Im just trying to avoid segregation between distributions

I hate the people who enslaves themself in one thing, you can say that linux (any distro) do X or Y thing, but that stupid names that linux-emptyminded-followers give to Windows... are senseless, why you can just use and let the others live??? Im writing this from my laptop preinstalled with vista, formated and now ubuntu is the only os that runs here, I agree is cool, but men, there are other things... the truth is that, here, today, windows is 100% better, may cost, may be slower... but hell, all the good programs are only for windows, the better games are only for windows, Im not taking a side, just co-exist, but those things that you lambs do are stupid, go and write in the linux forums, come here and ask for a linux version, but please, dont infest this good place with your stupid banners!!! For god sake!!!
