try to understand how torrent download works
I have the following setup:
- XP SP3
- FF 13.0.1
- FDM 3.9.1 build 1256
I have noticed the following:
- when I have 1 torrent started download, whenever I tried to add a 2nd torrent, both stopped working (showing an hour glass on the left side instead of green arrow. I waited over a minute but nothing changed, and torrent has over 100 seeders).
- I have set bittorrent in FDM (settings >> download >> network >> bittorrent)
- limit the number of maximum connection = 4 (light, medium, heavy mode)
- maximum number of half-open connections = 10 (light) = 15 (medium) = 20 (heavy)
- limit number of upload connections = 1 (light, medium, heavy mode) box not checked
- limit upload traffic unchecked and blank
- enable DHT unchecked
- associate FDM with .torrent file unchecked
Is this how it's supposed to work or it's a bug? It seems to me that once the 1st finished download, the 2nd that won't start, started downloading, which means I can't download more than 1 torrent at a time.
