Resume Download Issues
Resume Download Issues
Hi!
First off, thanks for this very wonderful program! I now use it 90% of the time for my download needs.
As for the download issues:
Scenario:
I place all my downloads on an external HD, which isn't always connected to the PC. During a session, 80% of the file gets downloaded, and because the external HD is needed on another PC, I stop FDM, pull the HD out, and do other things.
While the HD is disconnected, I need to download something from the net and since FDM is my default download manager, it fires up, and attempts to download the items in the download queue. Since the HD is not yet connected, it sort of "hangs." I realize my mistake and exit FDM (either via Alt-X or via the Task Manager), connect the HD, and open FDM again.
At this point, the issue comes up. FDM discards the previously downloaded portion and restarts downloading the file.
Questions:
1) Is this a bug?
2) If it's a bug, will it be addressed, and when?
3) If it's not a bug, is there a workaround to this?
Thanks a million!
