Possible problem, annoying but not critical
Possible problem, annoying but not critical
Greetings, thanks for making FDM. I use it all the time. Even with searingly fast Internet it is good to have a reliable robot watching over the downloads so I don't have to. I have noticed one small problem (aside from sometimes web sites refusing to allow an unauthorized connection; from Youtube? How does that equate?) which is that sometimes after a download concludes properly, the ".fmdownload" suffix is not erased from the file. FDM shows the file completing properly but my file manager (Total Commander in my case, in Windows 10 x64 FYI) shows the suffix still there. It is not a huge inconvenience erasing the suffix manually, but it is concerning that there might be a small bug in FDM. It is just such bugs that crackers seek to exploit and gain admittance to people's computers, even behind VPN and nested firewalls. So, if you would, please, look into this and repair it. I would be very grateful and feel more secure using FDM. Thanks again. Cheers.
Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.

Could you provide an URL where you encountered the issue?
FDM logs would also be helpful.
