Using FDM 6.14.2 in Linux Lubuntu 21.04 using LXQT.
When click in download link in browser is added automatically the download in Free Download Manager.
The problem is created a window status in top right screen to about new download added in list.
That window status not is automatically closed and the user need to close.
When starting several download link will be create a window status for each download added using totally the right side of screen.
If user has started 20 downloads need close 20 times the window status.
I not see how disable it.

Enabling "Start downloading without confirmation" is good, but each download FDM send to OS a window message being displayed in top right screen for each download.
The problem is each window message displayed need user to close. Thus when downloading several files are created several window messages needing close each one.
If downloading 50 files need close 50 times.
A option to disable enable message when starting a download fix it.

try tinker with "notifications" in fdm preferences/settings, possibly untick the 3rd one?.

Hi, Still the same issue for me : With enabled "Start downloading without confirmation" option, notification center keeps nagging me continuously, despite that I unticked all notifications settings in preferences.

It would be great it to be fixed

is there the possibilty that the notification come from browser or os instead of fdm itself? doesnt make any sense that it still notify you even when all option is off.

Windows 10 user here using FDM ver 6.16.0.4468 (8a66ef6)

This issue also occurs for Windows users as well.

There are no settings to disable notifications for added downloads, only for finished or broken downloads, so there is no way to mute or disable these notifications in windows notification settings, and if you are downloading many things at once, you are forced to mute your audio and/or then clear out many unneeded notifications.

Please enable a checkbox to disable added downloads from automatically notifying (or setup FDM to register in windows notifications, so that they can be disabled from OS side Please!

Otherwise, very satisfied user for years and years (even though this board account is brand new).
