Usher wrote:No, you won't. Uninstall should delete the program files and registry entries then ask if you want to keep your service files, but someone reported that it failed. So just do backup *.sav files from your FDM profile.Lone Browncoat wrote:Probably will have to export the list of downloads first, eh?
From the File>Export>Export [list] on the main FDM window doesn't work? I'll muddle through until the weekend or
next version becomes available, I did alright last night using the clipboard setting, even with Real-Debrid. Have to go back to Mozillazine and re-read Aris's and the other fella's instructions on the .css codes, have more time on the weekend for fiddling with things. See Ya then. Thanks. In the past problems usually fixed themselves after one or two updates.

You don't need to… There is no change in sav structure, nothing (but possible deleting) should happen when going back to build 1636 or updating to build 1638.Lone Browncoat wrote:From the File>Export>Export [list] on the main FDM window doesn't work?

It's not about file format, it's about link format. The WebExtension seems to ignore MIME types declared by the server-side for links with NO extension, see my older message: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16047&p=44962#p44962Jorge wrote:Things are getting worse, the extension is not only catching images it shouldn't, now it's catching txt files as well!!!!

There is a problem with FDM add-on version 3.0.5 and FF 57, some websites are not displayed properly, humblebundle.com for example, pls take a look.

Well, I'm not understanding this, but I got my tabs below the nav/search bar though the shades are reversed re; active vs. inactive tabs. Compared to the ESR. Doing OK with the clipboard method, especially torrents.
May wait and see what goes with upgrades to FDM, see if it fixes itself. Don't really understand why just can't install a separate extension file, like a normal extension. My head hurts.

I have seen similar pictures in Firefox 52 ESR so it's definitely a problem with FDM WebExtension v.3.0.x.cuongphoenix wrote:There is a problem with FDM add-on version 3.0.5 and FF 57, some websites are not displayed properly, humblebundle.com for example
Here's how it looks like in Firefox 52.5.0 ESR with FRDM 3.9.7 build 1638 and WebExtension 3.0.5:
and without WebExtension:
Note "0 days left" and missing content of "Reveal your Steam key" box with WebExtension active.

Digging in user styles in Firefox Quantum is a headache. You should NOT use any mods or other extensions if you want to get reliable results for FDM WebExtension tests.Lone Browncoat wrote:Well, I'm not understanding this, but I got my tabs below the nav/search bar though the shades are reversed re; active vs. inactive tabs. Because it's a mess. It's been discussed starting 5 years ago, see topics here:Lone Browncoat wrote:Don't really understand why just can't install a separate extension file, like a normal extension.

Is there any progress in the "Extension-catching-things-it-shouldnt" issue?
Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
FDM doesn't seem to recognise 64bit firefox. I have a 64 bit firefox 57 installed. FDM claims firefox isn't installed. After installing an additional 32 bit firefox 57 everything worked fine.

I have 64 bit FF57 and it recognises it just fine.
You know you have to install the extension from the options menu in FDM?

FF57 (x64)
FDM 3.9.7-1638
extension 3.0.5
Try to click on link LibreOffice_5.4.3_Win_x86.msi 215 MB on page
http://ru.libreoffice.org/download/
FDM will not catch it.

I have granted my system account admin rights and then reinstall FDM. Now it works fine.
