No, you won't. Uninstall should delete the program files and registry entries then ask if you want to keep your service files, but someone reported that it failed. So just do backup *.sav files from your FDM profile.

You don't need to… There is no change in sav structure, nothing (but possible deleting) should happen when going back to build 1636 or updating to build 1638.

It's not about file format, it's about link format. The WebExtension seems to ignore MIME types declared by the server-side for links with NO extension, see my older message: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16047&p=44962#p44962

There is a problem with FDM add-on version 3.0.5 and FF 57, some websites are not displayed properly, humblebundle.com for example, pls take a look.

I have seen similar pictures in Firefox 52 ESR so it's definitely a problem with FDM WebExtension v.3.0.x.

Digging in user styles in Firefox Quantum is a headache. You should NOT use any mods or other extensions if you want to get reliable results for FDM WebExtension tests.

Is there any progress in the "Extension-catching-things-it-shouldnt" issue?

FDM doesn't seem to recognise 64bit firefox. I have a 64 bit firefox 57 installed. FDM claims firefox isn't installed. After installing an additional 32 bit firefox 57 everything worked fine.

I have 64 bit FF57 and it recognises it just fine.

You know you have to install the extension from the options menu in FDM?

I have granted my system account admin rights and then reinstall FDM. Now it works fine.
