I know that I am asking more but you can do it in your spare time and it will take very less time. this is for FDM 3.9.x

things not to implements are
1. Major upgrades
2. bug fixes

things that will implements are
1. Smooth run without crash in Windows 10.
2. new browser extension for chrome and firefox in the forum only.
3. browser support normal functions and support to download videos from web players and show download buttons.

apart from above things you can remove all features and make FDM lite that only download files and videos (youtube and all) with integration to firefox and chrome only and these extension are in forum not in webstore or in extension store.

FDM 3.9 source code is open. You're free to implement anything you want and then you can send us your changes for review. We'll then think about integrating your changes into official build.

let me give you an example.
example:
suppose you are in a restaurant and ordered some food and you feel you required something to make the dish better and you ask the manager to implement it. manager replied "you are free to try any combination and try and make it happen then we will thing about it". if you know cooking then it is good but if don't then.

If i knew C++ then i would have implemented all settings by myself a very long back. and believe me my implementation would be the best FDM what you have know and it will make 120% more growth then now. if you don't believe then try it yourself make the changes i asked for and send it to your friends and ask them about the new lite version worth developing or not.

features should be strictly concerning about my requests.

I am currently using the lastest FDM 3.9x and so far have no issues? So what exactly is the problem? Are you having Browsers issues with FDM launching? If you can give more reporting other users of 3.9x can see what your looking at. I am using Windows 10 with 3.9x without issues. Also if you haven't read YT are problematic with 3.9x and doesn't always work well. Also you have to remove old plugins from the browsers and redownload so you get the latest plugins as well. There are things one has to do to insure it works and runs correctly.
