So we would like our users to just keep using it and report us any problems they get. I'm pretty sure that the current FDM6 BETA is much more stable than FDM5.

I can't see these features implemented or properly working in builds for Android and Linux. I will create separate topics for those versions.

I installed beta, but installer didn't configure "Maximum number of xxx" settings, so I had to manually set those numbers to make it work.

It is. But you can install FDM6 right now without uninstalling FDM5. Thus, you will be able to find out if FDM6 works fine for you and if not - report us and get the problem(s) fixed.

It seems that you are trying to use FDM6 in a portable mode, which is not supported currently.

When you run FDM 6.x first time, default values of "Maximum number of xxx" settings being empty (text boxes being empty in the preferences screen), and FDM won't download anything in this state.
Hope this making sense!

Maybe something to do with I uninstalled FDM 5.1 first, then installed FDM 6.6 beta.
