This occurs randomly. I did as you suggested and Its ok now, but would you say that if it is due to one of the possibilities you suggested, it should happen every time?

I don't think so. I suppose you just don't know how to find the real reason.

I don't know. Many settings in FDM are active for new downloads only, some of them require restarting FDM and/or web browser. They should be persistent, if there are no other problems with your system.

In most cases changes written to the Windows registry may be postponed or reverted by:
- malware;
- automatic system restore or checkdsk if FDM or your system crashes;
- crap cleaner, antimalware, antivirus, internet security suite or other misconfigured program dealing with registry.
However, in such cases you should have problems also with other software and with your system in general, so watch carefully...

What I want to say is that even if you manually edit install.rdf to change the maxversion, FDM addon can still not work (context menu never show "download with FDM). Do you think as a nightly user I don't know how to edit install.rdf? Then you are totally wrong.

I think you are ignoring the reporting rules (describe your actions and results in details, including error messages etc., see also viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17249&p=40821&hilit=context+menu+download+by+FDM#p40821) and changes in Firefox support for extensions (see Mozilla Extension Signing topic).

Okay, I rightly clicked on http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nigh ... ngpack.xpi on Firefox Nightly 44.0a1 x64 build with FDM extension ENABLED in addon manager and FDM set monitor downloads from Firefox. And I changed the maxversion to 44.0 in install.rdf in install folder and deleted meta-inf, then modified xpinstall.signiture.required in about:config to false to let the modified extension installed. But I can't see anything relates to FDM shown in context menu when I right click the link above.Is the information full enough?

It seems you are right - there must be some more incompatible changes introduced in Firefox 44 as Firefox 43 nightly works OK. See updated FAQ and info about Extension Signing.

FDM does not work well with Firefox Ver.39 or later.
So that it can be used without problems even to the latest version Ver.41 or later, please urgent improvement.

excuse me. I might be funny sentence is because English is not good.
We were looking for reporting rules, but could not find.
I decided to write a little more detail about my problem.
We are using the current Firefox Ver.39.03, but the menu for downloading at FDM does not appear when the subsequent you right-click on the link.
It also appears that there is no compatibility for plug-ins, but surpass emergency in that you set is not performed the Firefox plug-in check.
Without displaying Ver.41 subsequent menu in Firefox The use of the methods described above, should be adhered to FDM by one by one copy download link manually.
I want to be able to use without the latest Firefox in FDM is a problem in the next version of FDM.

that's all.
Sorry, No Tara hard to understand.
Thank you for your attention.

I've got a problem with many of my downloads stopping at around 69% or 70%, and after trying to resume the download it stops again, saying, "File not found on the server." The download is from dropbox.
Has anyone else had this problem in the past, and if so, is there a fix?

It seems to be a problem typical for file hosting services. Many file hosting services generate temporary links valid for a short period of time and limit number of connections (or downloads) per user (or IP address). If you stop downloading for longer time, the link will expire and you won't resume download. If you try to download too many files or make too many connections per download, the server may break all your connections.

Do you have problems with large downloads only?
