Hello,
You can upload video to some file sharing site (e.g. https://anonfiles.com/) and then send me the link to it via the private message on this forum.
Ahh, OK. Will do.

Re: FDM 6
I've got a weird issue now where the popup download box is not displaying anything, but when it pops up if I hit enter on the keyboard, the download proceeds. Hello, This is weird. A video would be useful. It happens so randomly, that I've not been able to capture a video, as I usually need to have...

Re: FDM 6
note that all files have been blocked from downloading in my Vivaldi web browser. So, I suspect this is the issue. Maybe allow Vivaldi to download with FDM and it will load automatically, no need to copy anything. That link that is on that page is a generic download link and will not work without t...

Re: FDM 6
I don't see this issue with MG at all. I tried the McAfee Stinger portable, which is 441 KB , so if you have the option skip FDM when files are smaller than 1 MB enabled , it goes directly to browser. So I looked at another file that is larger - the Kindle App for Windows: https://www.majorgeeks.com...

Re: FDM 6
If the clean install doesn't fix it, I'll definitely submit a video via the help email. With so many different pieces to the puzzle, I've decided to cleanly install all the .NET desktop runtimes, as well as all the VisualC++ Runtimes, before re-installing FDM. I'm installing it now and then will reb...

I'm not sure where the error may be so I'm going to start by cleanly installing the latest FDM 6 and see if I can then replicate it.

Re: Vote for the new FDM 6 features
It was just released as free, according to the Phoronix article Hello, Thanks for letting me know. However, I don't see it released, and neither their online installer does. It seems, it was released in a source code only form, no binaries. I'm not happy with this... Anyway, are there any real pros...

Re: Vote for the new FDM 6 features
It was just released as free, according to the Phoronix article, @Alex, as they promised to start doing with all the LTS releases that originally start in the paid (Enterprise) channels, releasing them to open source 1 year after initial release.

Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
It's probably because they broke the parser that translates path methods for the nativehost in Firefox 106. If it happens again replace all the occurrences of simple or double \/ in fdm's org.freedownloadmanager.fdm5.cnh.json by double dashes \\. to look like something like that as example: { "...

Re: FDM 6
@Alex - any ideas here? Hello, Whenever you use alpha version of a product, you are eligible for getting whatever kind of bugs developers can create. For me, it's a bug of Firefox Nightly, not an issue of FDM. So I can't give you any ideas except the one to go to their support and file a bug report...

Test in Fx 104.0.1, 104.0.2 and 105.0, it's working fine in all three.
Try a new profile and see if it works in there (just the FDM addon installed). If it does, it's something in your main profile.

Re: Delete 'Save To' location without resetting FDM?
Pretty cool and easy to use app that will get it done for you - DB-Browser. https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/ I grabbed the .ZIP (no install) version, x64, extracted it and ran the executable, then opened an Explorer window to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager\ and dragged the db.sqlite fi...

Fair enough. I had hoped you had insight as to what might have changed in Nightly, but I'll look elsewhere.

Re: FDM 6
Lol I'm the same. I prefer to use Nightly as my daily driver for a Mozilla browser, and only keep the stable release around as the testbed (basically, the exact reverse of what you'd expect). I thought my issues mentioned above were fixed, and the ones I noted are - but I am still experiencing your ...
